Lost Keys

If you've lost keys to your car, the first thing to do is check the area where you usually keep the keys. Some keys "drift" from their normal place of storage and end up on the floor or beneath something. It is important not to give up so quickly, especially if you have already looked in the area several times. If you've already done this but are still unable to locate your keys, get in touch with the local locksmith for help. Using a locksmith is often cheaper than going to the dealership to purchase replacement car keys. The locksmith will require some information about your car including its VIN or key code number. This information will help the locksmith identify your vehicle and give you the correct key to open it.
Broken Keys
Feelings of helplessness and dread come over you when a key breaks in your lock. Take the time to breathe before you give up. It's not impossible. If you're lucky you might be able grab the broken piece with the help of pliers needle nose. If not, tweezers could be sufficient (just make sure you don't accidentally push the broken edge further into the lock).
A great trick is using a bottle of WD-40(r), Smart Straw, with the intelligent nozzle to directly spray into the keyhole. This will help the damaged piece move out, and also break any bind that might be hindering it from moving. You can try wriggling it up and down or in and out, in order to let it loose from whatever is causing it to be stuck.
There are other options that have been tried by people such as using a paperclip to grip the broken piece from both sides and then push it out. You can also use a drill bit. Make sure you drill the hole on the open side of the key that has been broken, not the lock.
Damaged Keys
Often, what appears to be a serious hardware issue is really just a little bit of dust or grit underneath the key that is preventing it from functioning properly. It is often possible to resolve this yourself, without the need for replacement parts. All you require is a prying device (something such as a credit card works best but you can also use an ordinary screwdriver in a pinch) and a container to hold the key pieces as you take them out.
You will also need a spudger for removing the stubborn dirt and grime from the key's grooves and a Q-tip for cleaning the pad. If seat leon key fob are able to remove the key as well as its internal components ensure that you record their locations so that you can rebuild them properly later on.
If the key is completely broken in the ignition or the fob, a professional lock will have to recover it for you. Seat uses a 4-digit security code when programming the keys for the car. They do not divulge this information to anyone, including the owners. With a special tool and software, we are able to identify the code and provide you with a new key for less than the dealership.
